I record in a Bear Cave Silent Booth — a 4x6 double-wall isolation booth built in Ontario for professional voiceover work.

SONOpan damping between independent wall shells creates structural isolation.  Outside noise doesn’t get absorbed — it’s stopped before it reaches the microphone.  Traffic, HVAC, and household sound don’t enter the booth.

Consistency is the point.  Every session, revision, and pickup happens in the same controlled acoustic space.  No variables. No drift.

Inside, broadband absorption and diffusion keep the response neutral.  No boxiness.  No coloration.  Nothing competing with the performance.

When the mic is on, there’s nothing to fix.  No cleanup.  No rescue EQ.  Just broadcast-ready audio from the first take.
